Diablo 4 Season 11 Andariel Invasion and Undercity Mode Rewards Guide
Brand new to Season 11 is Andariel's Invasion. This unique feature only works if the expansion is owned. Without the expansion, access to this mode is not possible. Upon entering, tributes are placed, such as the mythic one for Season 11. Andariel appears through some sort of invasion event. The build used is considered one of the most overpowered and broken builds in the entire game, giving little contest against standard mobs. The main interest lies in discovering the mechanics of the boss fight during this invasion.

To increase the chances of encountering Andariel, it is essential to find and utilize her tributes when starting a run. Returning her corrupted essence unlocks the divine gift. Activating these tributes may require resnapshotting builds, especially for those using the dance of knives build, but the massive DPS means this is not an issue. The key focus remains on the unique mechanics Andariel brings to the table.
Entering the next floor demonstrates the increased difficulty, as even with a highly powerful build, there is barely enough time to complete objectives. The challenge escalates, making it much harder than before. The timer is strict, and mistakes can consume precious seconds, adding to the mode's overall difficulty.
Upon successful completion, maximum rewards are received. Notably, a goblin can also appear, providing additional loot opportunities.
The Andariel invasion offers a unique boss fight experience. It is not simply the standard Andariel encounter; instead, it closely resembles the campaign version, where destroying orbs and dodging special attacks like the spinning hadukan is required. The fight features new phases, including a second form, making it distinct from previous encounters.
The rewards from Andariel's Invasion are considered to be exceptional. The following table summarizes the types of loot and materials obtained:
| Reward | Description |
|---|---|
| Neath Iron | Brand new material for resetting masterworking |
| Mythic Item | Obtained when using a mythic tribute |
| Q Rune | Special rune for enhancements |
| GA | Currency for opening chests |
| Elixirs | Consumable buffs |
| Anguish Memory | Special currency, used for chests |
Note: Two Neath Iron were obtained in a single attempt, along with a mythic item and other rewards. The rewards may vary based on the tribute used.
The Andariel Invasion appears to be repeatable. The Undercity mode has seen changes, with all former Undercity bosses removed and replaced by Andariel. There may be a chance-based system for fighting Andariel, indicating variability in encounters.
